- The inner gel core may become much hotter than the outer fabric during heating. Always wait at least one minute after microwaving and test temperature before applying to skin.
- Cold therapy may cause frostbite if misused. Discontinue use and contact your physician if skin becomes discolored or does not return to normal color within 20 minutes.
- Prolonged or overheated use may lead to burns or injury.
- Some individuals may be sensitive to hot or cold therapy. Stop use if discomfort or irritation occurs.
- For ongoing or chronic pain, consult a healthcare provider.
- Adult supervision required. Do not allow children to heat or use without supervision.
- Microwave heating guidelines:
- 600–700 watt: 30–45 seconds per side at 10 second intervals
- 1100 watt: 30 seconds per side at 10 second intervals
