THE ‘SPARK’ IN THE INTERX WORKSHOP (A 2 day workshop) – GOLD COAST
January 31, 2020 @ 9:00 AM - February 1, 2020 @ 5:00 PM AEDT
This 2 day workshop will give you a good understanding of how the InterX works and why it is so effective in the management of acute, chronic and neuropathic pain. The workshop will provide new materials to help you understand the InterX technology, the physics behind the InterX, electrical waveforms and the electrophysiology of the body. Even if you feel that you know the subject very well, it is still useful to come and revise the basics.
Speaker: Dr. Zulia Frost graduated as a Doctor of General Medicine and Paediatrics from the State Medical Institute, Almaty, Kazakhstan. Following her internship at a children’s hospital, Zulia worked in a specialist emergency aid hospital before completing post-graduate training in ultrasonic diagnostics and radiology. After practising medicine for 10 years, Zulia relocated to the UK.
Whilst living in the UK, she discovered a new technology that was developed in Russia and later become known as Non-invasive Interactive Neurostimulation (NIN). Impressed by the results she achieved with patients, Zulia began researching this advanced technology and has since become recognised as the leading therapist and trainer. Zulia’s pioneering work in the field of Interactive Neurostimulation therapy led to her to be a world expert and recognised CPD trainer in Non-invasive Interactive Neurostimulation. Dr. Frost runs a training centre for therapists in the field of pain management and rehabilitation.
What is InterX? – A review of the technology.
How does it work? – Understanding electrical waveforms and the electrophysiology of the body.
Understand the physics behind the InterX
Understand fascia and its role and influences on pain and tissues
Learn how to assess the patient, develop clinical reasoning skills and develop practical applications/protocols for the treatment of acute and chronic pain. You will learn how to plan the treatment and the rationale for choosing different frequencies. You will practice using basic treatment protocol, Scan-Target-Dynamic and a release technique ‘3:1’. You will get an introduction to a new concept of physiology of trauma and how the body deals with it at an energetic level. this will help you understand better how the InterX fits in the healing process.
Whether you are new to InterX therapy or you are a long-term expert, it is important to keep your knowledge up to date, so your patients get the best treatment outcome. This day will focus on the management of the complex neuropathic pain patient.
Understand the impact of chronic pain on the body’s energy resources and a broader understanding of the Active Sites.
How to repair this process and develop InterX treatment protocols. The day will focus is on the complex patients, where things are not that straight forward, and where we have to deal with the degenerative processes leading to neuropathic pain.
New topic: Introduction to Red light Therapy (Photobiomodulation) – What is it? Research, Applications and integration with InterX.
